Our story

Seaborn Retrievers was born from a lifelong passion for Labrador Retrievers and a deep appreciation for veterinary medicine in 2018. What began as a love for the breed has grown into a commitment to raising exceptional Labrador Retrievers with an emphasis on health.

As a pre-veterinary student and a member of a veterinary clinic team, I have the opportunity to learn from experienced veterinarians while gaining hands on experience in canine health and preventative care. My education and daily work have strengthened my understanding of breeding, puppy development, and the importance of making informed decisions that prioritize the well being of every dog.

My passion for responsible breeding is also deeply personal. As a teenager, I had a beloved dog who faced severe health problems throughout his life. Watching him struggle was heartbreaking and inspired me to pursue medicine and learn everything I could about genetics, preventative care, and genetics. While no breeder can guarantee that every dog will live a life free of illness, my goal is to reduce those risks as much as possible through thoughtful breeding decisions, and a commitment to lifelong learning.

I believe that responsible breeding extends far beyond the day a puppy is born. One of my greatest passions is preventative veterinary medicine and educating families on how to give their new companion the healthiest start possible.

Every Seaborn Retriever puppy follows a carefully planned preventative care program, including routine deworming, age-appropriate vaccinations, regular health evaluations, and close monitoring throughout their early development. My goal is to reduce preventable health concerns while ensuring each puppy is thriving before they leave for their forever home.

I also believe that informed owners make the best lifelong advocates for their dogs. That's why I'm committed to providing every family with guidance on nutrition, preventative healthcare, parasite prevention, vaccinations, training, and overall wellness. Whether you're a first time Labrador owner or have owned dogs your entire life, I'm always happy to answer questions and provide support long after your puppy goes home.

By combining veterinary knowledge, preventative care, and responsible educational practices, my goal is to give every Seaborn puppy the strongest foundation for a long, healthy, and happy life.

One of my greatest interests within veterinary medicine is canine reproduction and reproductive health. I'm fascinated by the science behind breeding from genetics and health testing to pregnancy, neonatal care, and early puppy development. This knowledge allows me to approach every litter with purpose, ensuring each breeding is carefully planned with the health and future of the puppies in mind.

At Seaborn Retrievers, every puppy is raised with love, individualized care, and early socialization to help them become confident, well adjusted companions. My commitment doesn't end when a puppy goes home either, I strive to be a trusted resource for every family throughout their Labrador's life.

For me, breeding is about more than producing beautiful puppies. It's about honoring this incredible breed, giving every puppy the healthiest start possible, and helping families welcome a loyal companion they'll cherish for years to come.
