Puppy Updates
“After doing a lot of research, we decided to welcome a puppy into our home about 18 months ago and added Boozer to our family. We are so happy we did, especially after we contacted Cait at Seaborn Retrievers. We had gotten a recommendation from a friend of ours. We, in turn, have recommended Cait to both family members and friends. In fact, our cousin and one of our high school friends now have puppies from Seaborn Retrievers. We have had and continue to have a great experience with Cait. She gave us great and helpful advice, and asked all the right questions when we first contacted her. She wanted to make sure we were the right family for one of her puppies. She is an extremely reputable and caring breeder who continues to check in on Boozer. He is such a great, healthy 18-month old Labrador who is extremely smart, fun-loving, and handsome! Those are qualities that begin with a great and loving breeder! We are so happy we contacted Cait and will continue to recommend her and, when the time comes for another addition to our family, we will not hesitate to contact Cait at Seaborn Retrievers.”
“Caitlin is the definition of what a dog breeder should be. She has a passion for breeding dogs all while doing it in the best and correct way. She is extremely responsible and caring and always sees the good in people. We got our dog from her in March of 2021. The most perfect yellow lab who’s parents were cared so well for and tested genetically to make sure their litter would have good hips, elbows, genetics, etc.. Since having our yellow lab, we have chatted regularly and she loves receiving updates on how he is doing. I love that we keep in contact as it truly shows how much she cares, even after the puppy is long gone. I have recommended over five people to Caitlin, all of who have purchased puppies from her as well. Every person I know even boast about how smart, calm, and lucky they are to have found a breeder who treats their dogs so well. The temperament of these dogs are unmatched. ”

“I was looking for a yellow lab as a companion for my husband four and 1/2 years ago. I researched where I could find one and came upon her website. I gave her a call and she was so thorough with what my puppy would need as far as food, vet visits, and care. She truly cared so much about each and every dog and puppy. As time went on, I called more than a few times to ask health questions, especially once my dog was in heat. This was a very new experience for me and she walked me through it all. She was truly patient. Two years after "DJ" came into our lives, we contacted seaborn’s again for a companion for her. We ended up taking a drive to Pennsylvania again and picked up another puppy. She cares very much about who receives her dogs and makes sure they are going to a loving family. I love how most of the owners of my puppy's siblings would post pictures and keep in contact with Cait along the way. It's a true testament to what a great person she is.”

"Daisy had a checkup today. She did amazing at the vet - and she was the center of attention - everyone had to come see her cuz she is so cute. One of the techs asked me where I got her from because she wants a black one so I told her to check your site out and see what litters you have planned. She weighs 10lbs now and the vet says she looks great!”

"Hey! Wanted to share a quick update on Luna. She is the friendliest little pup and still loves to snuggle even though she's 60+ lbs now (we spoil her and let her in our bed a few nights a week, we can't help it!) We bring her up to our house in Vermont and she LOVES the snow! She could play in it all day. We can't wait wait for Summer to come so we can get her in the water. We love her so much and can't imagine life without her!"

“We are fortunate to have two pups from Seaborn Retrievers. Bailey (female, almost 3 yrs) and Cooper (male,2 1/2 years) are not genetically related as they have different parents. Nevertheless, they adore each other. They are beautiful, kind to our older dog and easy to train. Luckily, they are in perfect health. We found Bailey during the pandemic, and it was very challenging to find a puppy at that time. Cait was excellent to deal with. She was kind, professional, and upfront with us. After we brought the pups home, Cait always answered our texts or calls that we had with questions about Raising the pups together. I have recommended her to many other families, and have nothing reputable things to say about her.”

Good morning, it’s Kameron with Gutsy! I ended up deleting the app and realized I haven’t sent any updates, he keeps me on my toes lol! This past month has been soo soo good with him he is so cool everyone loves him. He’s a little celebrity in the neighborhood. Now that he’s getting older his personality is starting to show and he is just soo funny. At first all he wanted to do was play and not train, but now all he wants to do is train and be by my side. He is also too smart for his own good! I try to give him little games and toys to help keep him stimulated and he figures it out in minutes and ready for more it’s insane! Vet appointment for 2nd round of shots also went good they were in love with him and so were the other dogs he just wanted to play the entire time lol, I added some pics for reference! I know he’s going to love dog parks once we complete his shots I’ll be sure to send some videos of that too! I recommended everyone who asked to you. You are amazing at what you do. Thank you :)

"Ozzie (Royal) has settled in very quickly and bonded with me. He happily follows wherever I go, often underfoot, and eschews the big dog bed for a place next to my easy chair. He doesn't seem to have any problems acclimating, what a sweetheart! He actually slept thru the night (pretty much). He is a love bug who can't believe how many people there are in the world he hasn't said hello to, and he plans to remedy that. As you can see in the pics he also loves our appliances. We are over the moon in love with our little guy. Love this puppy. Thank you so much.”
“Cait was incredible during the time that we were selecting a breeder, waiting for the pups to be born and after they were born. She paid attention to every detail of the puppy socialization process and made sure that each person would receive a dog that would match their personality and life situation. She provided helpful tips on introducing your dog to their new forever home and sent each dog home with toys and food to make the transition much easier. We have had two other Labrador Retrievers from excellent breeders and Cait’s dogs are of very high quality. Our new pup is very smart and clearly socialized to a variety of situations to make her a great companion. I would recommend Cait to anyone wanting to adopt a new Labrador Retriever.”

“One week and this little pup is doing amazing, he's learning commands quickly, nipping less everyday, and a routine is setting in. Today we are going to the beach to see how he likes it, Jack and I want to say that you did a fantastic job and we tell everyone how great of a breeder you are, I'll send pics later
"Maize went to the vet yesterday and is now 13 pounds!! She's been great! Loves meeting new people and new dogs around our apartment complex. She's now super comfortable in her crate and she's mastered "sit" "come" and "look at me" which helps during photo shoots to get her to look at the camera. Thanks again for the best early christmas present!"
“Hi Cait !!!! Everything is going great !! Fin is the sweetest, most snuggly baby ever and really getting a hang of all of his commands and tricks ! Can’t wait till the baby comes and they can meet, he’s such a mush but loves to run and play ! Both Abby and the other one are beautiful ... you definitely breed the best looking dogs and do such a great job! Fin was so funny with all the snow we got he LOVES it ! Most of the time we couldn’t get him inside out of it I’ll attach some videos ! Hope all is well with you guys and if we had more room we would take another one of your sweet babies because we couldn’t be happier with ours!"
