Puppy Purchase Process, Selection & Pickup Policy

Bringing home a Labrador Retriever puppy should be joyful and exciting. We aim to make the process smooth and transparent while protecting the health of our puppies, who are raised inside our home and have developing immune systems.

Registration

All puppies are sold with Limited AKC Registration, meaning they are fully AKC registered but any future offspring cannot be registered. This is ideal for families seeking a loving companion or performance dog.

If you are interested in Full AKC Registration (breeding rights), please let us know in your application. We will select the puppy that best upholds our breeding standards. Full registration requires a separate written contract.

  1. Application Process:
Just start by filling out a simple application (click here). It's really just our way of getting to know you a little better and making sure each of our puppies finds a wonderful, loving home.

  2. Nonrefundable Deposit

Once your application is approved, we will send the steps via email of how to submit a $300 non-refundable deposit is required to reserve your puppy. We prefer communication be through email/text as it can track conversations and ensure everything is laid out smooth. We typically do not do phone calls but if it is needed after a deposit is placed with something that cannot be said over text/email we will try our best to fit that in our schedule/ The deposit is applied toward the total purchase price, with the remaining balance due at pickup. Please also fill out and submit our sales contract please by clicking here.

Our puppies are priced at $1,900 with AKC Limited Registration.

If circumstances change and you’re unable to move forward, the deposit is non-refundable; however, it may be transferred one time only to a future litter within two years. If it exceeds two years unfortunately the deposit will no longer be valid, and a new application and deposit will be required.

  3. Puppy Picture & Update Schedule

We absolutely love sharing updates and watching our puppy families fall in love as the puppies grow! Capturing these special milestones is something we truly enjoy, and we do our best to keep everyone updated while also giving our puppies the best care possible. We will update you along from the start of every breeding.

To help us balance puppy care, family life, and daily responsibilities, we follow a consistent photo and video schedule:

    • Birth: Group photos of the entire litter

    • 2 Weeks: Individual puppy photos + videos

    • 4 Weeks: Individual puppy photos + videos

    • 6 Weeks: Individual puppy photos + videos

    • 8 Weeks: Individual puppy photos + videos

This schedule allows us to focus on raising happy, healthy, well-socialized puppies while still providing meaningful updates along the way. We post on our Instagram story for these updates. If you prefer email or text please let us know and we will send them within those methods.

Because we balance university for pre-vet, family, and hands on puppy/dog care, we truly appreciate your understanding and patience as we stick to this schedule. Additional updates may be shared when time allows, but the above milestones are what families can always expect.

Thank you so much for being part of our puppy journey, we can’t wait to watch your puppy grow with you!

  4. Puppy Selection

Whether this is your very first puppy or you’ve shared your life with dogs before, we want the selection process to feel exciting, comfortable, and reassuring for all involved! Picks go in the order of deposits received but please note breeder always has first pick rights regardless.

Because young puppies have developing immune systems and are not yet fully protected by vaccines, limiting outside exposure is extremely important. Puppies can easily pick up illnesses through shoes, clothing, hands, or visits to multiple homes and public places. For this reason, puppy selection is thoughtfully supported through photos, videos, and ongoing communication, rather than in-home visits. This allows us to keep the puppies safe while still giving families a clear and meaningful look at each puppy. If this is not for you we understand and there are other breeders that can help you however, we are very passionate in keeping ALL of our puppies as healthy as can be!

After the puppies complete their veterinary exams and breeder given temperament evaluations (typically between 6–7 weeks of age), families will receive in the order of deposits:

    • A copy of each puppy’s temperament testing results

    • Updated photos and videos

    • A detailed personality description of each puppy

This information helps both first time and experienced families understand who each puppy truly is beyond appearance alone.

You will have 24 hours in order of deposits to pick your puppy then it will go onto the next family. We ask you think on each puppy carefully.

We always encourage families to choose based on personality, energy level, and what you’re looking for in a companion, rather than color first. While looks change, temperament is what you live with every day and the right personality match makes all the difference!

If you’d prefer, we are also happy to select your puppy for you. Because we spend every day with the litter, we have a deep understanding of each puppy’s temperament and can confidently match a puppy to your lifestyle, goals, and experience level. We will give our opinion as well for each family even if you are wanting to pick your own. This helps us ensure you know from our side what puppy would be best for your family from our view.

Our goal is to set every puppy and family up for a lifetime of success, health, and happiness and we’re here to guide you every step of the way for an entire lifetime!
